Let’s practice. In Essentials, my instruction comes from Hatha, a tradition I approach at a gentle and slow pace. All my teaching focuses on breath alignment, stability, strength, and rooting down the crucial aspects of asana practice. The purpose of this class is to support the specific student’s needs and to establish a strong development of foundational postures that will allow them to take studio or at-home classes with confidence and ease ( I do not instruct classical inversions or arm balances). Sessions can include basic breathwork and meditation. *I offer a free previous 15-20-minute online consultation to determine the needs of the client. No temporary replays are available for Zoom in these sessions.

These extended sessions teach the student to recognize the basic energetic effects of essential postures in the physical body. This will empower them to choose a yoga class according to their mental and physical needs to practice at home. My foundation in these classes is based on tantric Hatha ( I do not instruct classical inversions or arm balances). Sessions include basic and/or advanced breathwork (exchangeable for systematic relaxation, depending on the student's requirements), and open mantra or tantric meditation. *I offer a free previous 15-20-minute online consultation to determine the needs of the client. ⫸BREATH TRAINING:
Yogic methods for a healthy sleep

This training will give the student the tools to practice specific breathing exercises that can help strengthen the diaphragm and the smooth muscles of the airways to improve breathing patterns. Research has shown that breath training can be an effective aid for managing sleep apnea. With consistent practice and guidance, a person can potentially improve their respiratory health and enjoy better sleep and overall well-being. If the intention is to look for a natural, non-invasive way to manage sleep apnea, incorporating breath training into a daily routine is worth considering. The Discovery class is an Introduction to Meditation that helps students choose the style that suits them best. We will explore Vedic meditation (open/traditional mantras), or mindfulness meditation (Unified Mindfulness and/or standard practices). The Bump Into Silence class is an insightful journey that offers 120 minutes of concentrated teaching that will easily lay the ground for personal practice. A session includes an introduction to philosophy, technique & practice + Q&A on (choice of) mantra meditation (open/traditional mantras), mindfulness meditation (unified mindfulness and/or other standard practices), or energy management visualization (guided tantric meditation). Breath awareness and basic breathwork are part of the practice. A PDF with the material seen in class is included. With Nourishment, the attendants will have a taste of a liberating practice that will nourish their nervous system: A short intro to managing energy depletion + yoga stretches (15 minutes) + Breath awareness and basic Breathwork (10 minutes) + open mantra or tantric meditation (30 minutes) + Guided closing chant (5 minutes). These sessions can switch breathwork for systematic relaxation if solicited by the group or organizer. Philosophy & technique are not included in these sessions. The attendants will create collective Coherence and expand their awareness while meditating in community: An intro to the practice and instructions to tap into gut-heart-brain interconnection (5-10 minutes) + healthy breathing & breath awareness (15-20 minutes) + open mantra or tantric meditation or Unified Mindfulness (30 minutes) + Guided closing with or without mantra (5 minutes). Primordial Sound Meditation (PSM) Training

Primordial Sound Meditation is a masterful healing practice that allows us to experience true calm and deep relaxation. To access subtler levels of awareness, the student will receive a personalized mantra through Jyotish science, a sacred and living Vedic tradition. Philosophy, technique & practice are offered thoroughly, and the course is specially crafted and proven to ease the student into long-term practice.
• The IN-DEPTH VERSION training recommends three 120-minute sessions + a 45-minute private mantra instruction. If taken by a group, I cover the material on three Saturdays or three Sundays, or on a weekend: Saturday (mantra instruction + 2 sessions) and Sunday (1 final session). The training must be offered consecutively. If taken one-on-one, I can accommodate the classes at the student’s convenience.
• The BASIC VERSION training (groups or one-on-one) offers concentrated teaching of the four original sessions in a 120-minute class: philosophy, a private mantra instruction & cues into a steady practice + a follow-up Zoom 30-minute session for final questions about mantra and meditation techniques.
*All course material is included, plus temporary replays on Zoom. A diploma of completion by The Chopra Center will be issued with the student’s name.
